In the Truskavets municipal territorial community, the installation of a monument on the grave of a deceased serviceman, who served during martial law and died from causes not related to participation in hostilities, will be funded from the city budget.
A meeting of the Commission for the consideration of applications for one-off financial assistance for the installation of a memorial on the grave of a deceased serviceman took place on 4 August 2026. The members of the commission considered one application and decided to provide financial assistance to the wife of the deceased serviceman.
The amount of the one-off payment from the city budget will be 58 000 UAH. The funds are intended for the installation of a memorial on the grave of the serviceman who served during martial law and did not die as a result of hostilities. Assistance is not provided in cases of death resulting from suicide, alcohol abuse or the use of narcotic substances.
The funding is provided within the framework of the Programme for social support of certain categories of residents of the Truskavets municipal territorial community for 2025–2027. The procedure for granting one-off financial assistance for the installation of memorials on the graves of deceased (fallen) servicemen who performed military service during martial law and died from causes not related to participation in hostilities was approved by the decision of the Truskavets City Council of 11 September 2025 No. 4642.
