On 19 September, in the town of Velyki Mosty, an event is planned to remind people of the Ukrainian defenders, both men and women, who are in captivity or officially listed as missing in action. The aim of the gathering is to make a public statement that the community remembers these people and continues to wait for their return.
Families and friends of service personnel are invited to take part, as well as all concerned residents of the community who wish to support those who live every day in anticipation of any news about their loved ones.
The event will begin on 19 September at 13:00. Venue – the town of Velyki Mosty, near the Alley of Hope.
The organisers stress that such meetings help unite people who share the same pain, and once again draw the public’s attention to the issue of prisoners of war and those missing in action.
