Today the body of fallen defender of Ukraine Mykola Perun will be brought to the village of Verblyany in the Yavoriv community. This was reported by Yavoriv City Council.
The cortege with the warrior’s body will pass through Yavoriv. At approximately 13:15, a gathering to receive the fallen defender is planned at the monument to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred next to the CMC “Sokil”.
After this the procession will head to Verblyany. At the entrance to the village there will be another gathering to honour the warrior, after which the cortege will proceed to his family home.
At 20:00 a parastas will be held in Verblyany. The funeral rite is scheduled for Monday at 14:00.
Yavoriv City Council has called on residents of the community to pay their respects to the fallen defender, accompany him on his final journey and pray for the repose of the soul of Mykola Perun.
