On September 13, 2022, in the war with the Russian occupiers, our countryman, a resident of the village of Dmytriv, Ihor Mykolayovych Markiv, born on June 18, 1997, who took a military oath of loyalty to the Ukrainian people, while serving in combat in the Kherson region, died.
The sad news was announced today in the Radekhiv City Council.
On behalf of the entire community, we express our sincere condolences to the Hero’s relatives and friends.
Let the bright memory of our fallen Defender become stronger than death and forever remain in the memory of relatives, friends, comrades-in-arms, in the memory of the Ukrainian people.
We will meet the cortege with the body of the fallen Warrior tomorrow, October 29, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.
A request to the residents of the community to go to the stele of the Heavenly Hundred and along Lvivska Street to the Symbolic Grave of the Fighters for the Freedom of Ukraine (the intersection of Obyzna – Lvivska Streets) in the city of Radehiv, creating a living corridor to pay respect and see the Hero on his last journey with dignity.
After the farewell, the mourning cortege will move through the village of Kryve to Hero’s home in the village of Dmitriev.
The funeral will take place on October 30, 2023 in the village of Dmytriv.
