On 9 October, the village of Volytsia in the Sokal region welcomed the Hero of Ukraine Vasyl Demchuk
After 22 months of separation, soldier Vasyl returned to his native village forever.
The local community and family came out to meet the Hero of Ukraine and brought him to his home through the village.
The parastasis rite was led by the rector of the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord of the OCU in Volytsia, Archpriest Viktor Glushchenko, with the clergy of the Sokal district.
May the Hero of Ukraine Vasyl Demchuk rest in peace.
