In the village of Vorotsiv, a farewell ceremony was held for a local resident, serviceman, staff sergeant of military unit A1587 Oleksandr Yuriiovych Halushko (10.07.1977 — 01.09.2026). Family, comrades-in-arms, fellow villagers and representatives of the community gathered to accompany the defender on his final journey.
Those present at the farewell honoured the memory of the serviceman with a joint prayer. For more than three decades he devoted his life to service in the army, remaining faithful to his oath, to Ukraine and to his comrades.
Mourning Oleksandr Yuriiovych are his wife Oksana, mother Valentyna, children Valeriia, Illia, Roksolana and Solomiia, grandson Yaroslav, mother-in-law Orysia, sisters Liudmyla, Ira and Halyna with their families, brother Volodymyr with his family, and uncle Oleksii with his family.
The community extends its sincere condolences to the serviceman’s family and friends, and notes that the memory of Oleksandr Halushko, his service and his dedication to Ukraine will live on in the hearts of all who knew, loved and respected him.
