Heroes of the Yavoriv community, who were born or gave their lives for Ukraine in March, were commemorated in Yavoriv
Traditionally, the event began with a liturgy in the Church of St. Vlkmch. Yurii Peremozhets, where the families of the Heroes, together with clergymen and representatives of the authorities, prayed together for the peace of our Soldiers and peace in Ukraine.
Relatives of the Heroes, together with the authorities and the public, laid flowers and lit candles at the foot of the monument to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and the victims of the ATO.
Heroes are not born, they become them. We must always remember their act and their sacrifice.
In addition, every first Tuesday of the month in Yavorov, all Heroes who were born or gave their lives for the Motherland in this month are honored.
