A farewell ceremony for fallen defender Roman Shadiyarov will be held in Yavoriv. The cortege with the serviceman’s body is on its way to his home town and will pass along Osyp Makovey and Pavlo Tychyna Streets.
The procession will arrive at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Horna Church), where a reception for the fallen warrior and the beginning of the funeral service are scheduled for approximately 12:00.
After the service, the funeral procession will proceed on foot to the new cemetery, where Roman Shadiyarov will be laid to rest.
The organisers urge residents of the Yavoriv community to join in welcoming the cortege, to pay their respects to the fallen defender and to honour his memory with a joint prayer.
