The Zhovkva community has announced the death at the front of 41-year-old Yaroslav Kunynets, a resident of the village of Liubelia. The serviceman was killed on 12 October on the battlefield near the settlement of Lyman in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region as a result of being hit by an enemy FPV drone.
The farewell ceremony for the fallen defender will take place on 19 October at 14:30 in the square in Zhovkva. After the ceremony, the cortege with the body of Yaroslav Kunynets will proceed to his home in Liubelia (Zalozy hamlet), and then to the Church of St Nicholas and the local cemetery, where the soldier will be laid to rest.
The Zhovkva community extends its sincere condolences to the parents, wife, children, sister, relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms of the deceased. As a sign of mourning, 19 October has been declared a Day of Mourning in the Zhovkva community.
