In Zhovkva they will bid farewell to Ukrainian defender Taras Shreter

In the Zhovkva community they have announced a farewell to 39-year-old defender of Ukraine Taras Shreter, who died on 30 June as a result of an accident on a lake in the village of Volia-Vysotska.

The Zhovkva City Council reported that Taras Shreter was serving in the Armed Forces and carrying out combat missions in the most dangerous areas, demonstrating his loyalty to the oath and to Ukraine.

A Parastas for the fallen soldier is scheduled for 2 July at 19:00 in Mourning Room No. 2 in the town of Zhovkva. The funeral service will take place on 3 July at 12:00 in Zhovkva’s central square, after which the cortege will proceed to the Church of Saint Archistrategos Michael in the village of Volia-Vysotska and then to the local cemetery.

The Zhovkva City Council expressed its condolences to the parents, wife, sister, relatives, comrades-in-arms and friends of Taras Shreter. A Day of Mourning for the fallen defender has been declared in the Zhovkva community on 3 July.
