In the village of Zvertiv of the Kulykivka community, a memorial plaque to Andrii Rubel has been unveiled; according to the organisers, he gave his life for the freedom, independence and peaceful future of Ukraine.
The memorial plaque is intended to honour the memory of the soldier and remind residents of the high price Ukrainians are paying for their freedom.
The post notes that the courage, devotion to the Motherland and self-sacrifice of Andrii Rubel will remain forever in people’s hearts, and that his memory should inspire future generations to love their native land and to remain unbreakable in spirit.
During the unveiling, condolences were expressed to the family and friends of the fallen defender, and his memory was honoured.
