On August 29, Ukraine honors the memory of the defenders who gave their lives for the country’s freedom.
“Every name, every story, every photo of the fallen is part of the great history of Ukraine,” – stated a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The families of 30 fallen heroes from the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, including National Guard members, police officers, border guards, and rescuers, have been awarded state honors. The President of Ukraine posthumously acknowledged their achievements.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated a symbolic action: each family filled the “Cup of Memory” with grain, symbolizing life, gratitude, and eternal remembrance.
“We remember. We stand by the families of the heroes,” – emphasized the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Every step forward is a continuation of the fight of the fallen defenders, and we must be worthy of their sacrifice.
