The company “Ukrainian Armour”, as part of the Brave1 Advantage programme, has unveiled the new UB80D10-EFP strike FPV drone. The system is designed to engage enemy personnel, light armoured vehicles with armour up to 50 mm thick, as well as various firepower assets from the air.
The drone is built on a 10-inch frame and equipped with a 3 kg warhead in an explosively formed penetrator configuration with fragmentation-high explosive effect. This type of warhead provides penetration of armour up to 50 millimetres thick.
Depending on the mission, the UB80D10-EFP can be fitted with either a day or night camera, and can use both analogue and digital communication channels on different frequencies. There is provision for integrating an automatic target-tracking module.
In its radio-controlled version, the FPV drone can cover distances of up to 30 km and reach speeds of up to 130 km/h, while maintaining high manoeuvrability.
“The UB80D10-EFP is the logical evolution of our drone line-up. And, like all our latest products, it was developed in direct response to frontline requirements. In essence, using this type of warhead allows us to increase the strike power of the product: when the warhead detonates, the drone forms a penetrator capable of piercing 50 millimetres of armour. At the same time, the drone remains agile and fast,” said the General Director of LLC “Ukrainian Armour”, Vladyslav Belbas.
