
On the night of December 6, 2025, Russian forces launched a large-scale attack on the critical energy infrastructure in the Lviv region using combat drones and cruise missiles.
At 9:26 AM, an air raid alert was announced in the Drohobych, Lviv, Sambir, and Yavoriv districts. The alert ended at 9:46 AM.
The village of Silets in the Sheptytskyi district suffered the most damage. Drone debris caused a fire in a private residential house. Preliminary reports indicate that two people were injured. At least three more homes in the village sustained damage.
As a result of the strikes, fires broke out at several critical infrastructure facilities. Emergency crews from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine in the Lviv region are working on site.
