Thick smoke over Lviv caused by burning tires in civilian warehouses hit by missile strike

A large cloud of smoke has risen over Lviv after a Russian missile hit civilian warehouse facilities, sparking a fire. The blaze broke out in storage units containing tires, which caused intense smoke to spread across the city.

As of now, no casualties have been reported. This remains the only officially confirmed information at this stage.

🔹 According to preliminary assessments, the smoke does not pose a direct health hazard.
🔹 However, residents are advised to keep their windows closed as a precaution and stay indoors.

🛑 In the past 10 minutes, emergency services received 5 reports of people trapped in elevators.

Due to damage to the power infrastructure following the attack, emergency blackouts are occurring across the city without prior warning. As a result, electricity supply schedules are being changed unpredictably, making elevator use particularly dangerous.

City services are operating in emergency mode, responding to a surge in calls.

Authorities urge Lviv residents to take safety precautions seriously and avoid using elevators until the situation stabilizes.
