Once again, the Sokal region is in mourning. Victor Viktorovych Melnyk, born in 1986 and a resident of the village of Zavyshen, has been killed in action while defending Ukraine.
Victor graduated from the Zhvyrkiv school and later began working as an inspector at Correctional Facility No. 47, where he was known for his dedication and responsibility.
From the very first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, he volunteered to serve on the front lines, standing up bravely to defend his homeland. His actions were a true reflection of courage, patriotism, and loyalty to Ukraine.

and his grandmother, Kateryna.
