The Sokal community has not yet had time to recover from yesterday’s news, when again we have sad news from the front.
Yesterday, January 18, a resident of the village of Borok, junior sergeant Stepan Ivanovich Kozak, died in the combat zone while courageously performing his military duty in the battle for Ukraine, its freedom and independence.
He was only 30 years old. Stepan Ivanovych was called up for military service on April 11, 2022, served as deputy commander of a combat vehicle, gunner-operator of the mechanized division of military unit A4574.
Young, full of courage and strength, with plans for the future and dreams… Unfortunately, the war took his young life. He is survived by his mother, Maria Stepanivna. Two small children, son Ostap, born in 2015, were also orphaned. and son Artem, born in 2017
