The Sheptytskyi community has received another tragic message from the frontline. Volodymyr Vasylovych Shkudor, born in 1989, was killed while defending Ukraine, its independence, and territorial integrity.
Volodymyr Shkudor served in the Armed Forces with the rank of junior sergeant. He was a gunner in a tank platoon of military unit A0998.
The defender was killed on June 27 near the city of Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region while carrying out a combat mission.
The Sheptytskyi City Council expressed its sincere condolences to the family, loved ones, and fellow soldiers of the fallen serviceman. The community shares the pain of this irreparable loss and bows its head in mourning.
Ukrainians must always remember the extraordinarily high price that defenders pay for the freedom and independence of the country.
