The sad news came to Sokal district again…
On 21 July, 2025, Hero SANTAR Bohdan Romanovych, born on 03.05.1977, a resident of Zhvirka, was killed while performing a combat mission near the village of Nova Sich, Sumy region.
The sad news was reported by the Sokal City Council.
Bohdan graduated from Sokal School No. 4, then studied at Chervonohrad School No. 55 as a welder.
He worked at the Sokal Construction Department (Agrobud). He was mobilised for military service on 10.09.2024, served as a senior gunner of the 3rd mortar division of the infantry battalion in the military unit A4862.
We express our sincere condolences on the death of Bohdan Santar to his parents – Roman Tadeyovych and Olha Ilkivna, brother Taras, sister Nataliia and the entire family.
The time of the meeting of the Hero’s body and the rite of burial will be announced later. May he rest in peace!
