A young Defender of Ukraine is returning home on a shield.
Nazariy Durkot (23.07.2003 – 15.03.2025) — soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine.
He was born and lived in the village of Yarushchy, Stryi community. There, he completed primary school. From fifth to ninth grade, he studied at Oleksytska Gymnasium. Later, he graduated from Stryi Vocational College with a specialty in “Electrogas Welder”.
He completed mandatory military service. Before the start of the full-scale war, he signed a contract with the National Guard of Ukraine. He faithfully and honorably fulfilled his military duty.
Unfortunately, the war took the life of the Hero in a battle in Donetsk region. The warrior was considered missing for more than ten months. He did not have time to create a family.
We sincerely sympathize with his parents, grandmother, sister, and nephew. To all relatives and acquaintances who knew and loved Nazariy.
