Andrii Hrynishyn (28.01.1976-07.08.2025) – soldier of the 2nd self-propelled artillery platoon, died in Donetsk region.
Andrii was born in Stryi, where he studied at Gymnasium No. 10 and at I. Franko Lyceum. After graduating from the Higher Vocational School No. 34, he worked at PJSC “Stryi Sewing Factory “Striteks” and as a builder.
On February 27, 2023, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his Motherland. He died as a result of an enemy strike in the area of Shandryholove, Kramatorsk District, in the Donetsk region.
At home, his mother and sister awaited the Hero. “Eternal memory and glory to the Defender of Ukraine!” – convey gratitude for his dedicated service and sacrifice. Heroes do not die!
