The Velykomosti Community Lost Another Defender in the War for Ukraine
With deep sorrow, we report that the Velykomosti community has suffered another heavy loss. In the battle for Ukraine, YURIY NADILNYI, born in 1995, a resident of the village of Reklynets, has died.
Service and Circumstances of Death
He served as an operator of the third strike UAV section of the fourth strike unmanned aviation complexes company in the strike UAV battalion of military unit A4638. Drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in July 2023, Yuriy was considered missing since March 10, 2025. We waited and prayed… But unfortunately, no miracle happened and today we received confirmation that he heroically died in battle near the settlement of Novosergiivka, Izium district, Kharkiv region, faithful to his military oath, defending the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our state.
Condolences and Farewell
The Hero is survived by his parents, sister, and beloved girlfriend, with whom he planned a future together. On Thursday, May 8, Yuriy would have turned 30… But the war took his young life. The mourning cortege with the body of the fallen Hero will arrive in the Velykomosti community on Friday, May 9. On the same day, the farewell ceremony and funeral will take place. We will announce the exact time additionally. We express our sincere condolences to Yuriy’s family, friends, loved ones, and comrades-in-arms. Eternal memory to the Hero! Glory to Ukraine!
