The Radekhiv community received another tragic news about the death of a compatriot.
On March 13, 2025, while performing military duty in the battle for Ukraine, a resident of the city of Radekhiv, rifleman Andriy Habinet, died in the Kursk region (RF). Until September 29, 2025, the soldier was considered missing, but the results of a DNA examination confirmed his death. “The Radekhiv City Council, together with the entire community, expresses sincere condolences to the relatives, friends, and comrades of the Defender,” the statement reads.
The cortege with the body of the fallen soldier will be met on October 1, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Residents of the city are urged to come to the Heavenly Hundred Stele to pay their last respects. The funeral service will take place on October 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Nicholas in Radekhiv.
