Volodymyr Yatsyshyn, a resident of the village of Volytsia and born in 1980, has been killed in the war defending Ukraine.
He served in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine as an inspector of the 11th Border Guard Detachment and held the rank of senior sergeant.
For a long time, the defender was listed as missing in action. His family lived through painful uncertainty, holding on to hope for good news. It has now been confirmed that he was killed on June 15, 2025.
