The sad news came to Sokal district again.
On 23 February, 2025, near the village of Oleshnya, Suzhansky district, Kursk region, the Hero Chaplyk Volodymyr Volodymyrovych, born on 19.06.1975, a resident of the village Zhvyrka, died while performing combat missions related to the defence of the Motherland.
The sad news was reported by the Sokal City Council.
He served as the commander of the communications unit of the communications platoon of the 3rd mechanised battalion of the military unit A 4699.
The Hero Volodymyr Chaplyk is survived by his wife Nadiia, son Vasyl and mother Mykhailyna Onufriivna. We sincerely condole with the entire family on their irreparable grief.
The time and place of the meeting of the Hero’s body and the rite of burial will be announced later.
