Another bitter news from the frontline
Hero Pelekh Yaroslav Petrovych, born in 1985, has passed away to the Heavenly Legion. A native of the village of Volsvyn, Yaroslav Pelekh served as a border guard inspector – mechanic – driver of the military unit 9937.
Loyal to his oath of allegiance and his comrades-in-arms, Yaroslav Pelekh proved to be a reliable warrior, brave and determined.
His life was cut short in the Kharkiv region during a fierce battle on 15 February.
We bow low to the Defender, to whom we all owe a debt of gratitude. We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the Hero. We share the pain of irreparable loss and bow our heads in grief.
On Monday, 24 February, at 12:30, we will meet the funeral cortege with the Hero in Sheptytsky. After the meeting, at 13:00, the funeral service and funeral rites will be held at the parents’ house in Volsvyn. The soldier will be buried in the village of Volsvyn.
