On the battlefield, Lviv police officer Bohdan Verkhomiy, who served in the National Police since 2023, has died.
Bohdan Verkhomiy was born in Lviv and began his service in the National Police in 2023. A year later, he joined the special-purpose police regiment KORD in Lviv region. He carried the title of police officer with honor and performed combat missions in dangerous areas in the Donetsk region.
On May 27, during counter-diversion measures, Bohdan was wounded and went missing. His death was confirmed on September 2. His fellow servicemen remember him as a brave and reliable fighter.
Bohdan is survived by his parents and two younger sisters. The personnel of the National Police of Ukraine expresses sincere condolences to his family and friends. \”He is forever 29. He is forever in the ranks!\”
