In a military hospital in Kyiv, the heart of a Hero stopped — Hryhorii Krychok, junior inspector of the border service, demining specialist of the Chernihiv region (call sign “Sazan 93”).
Hryhorii Krychok was born on September 9, 1981, in the village of Zabirya. He was orphaned from an early age. He lived in the town of Zhvirka. He graduated from Vocational School No. 60 in Rava-Ruska.
On March 2, 2022, he was called up for military service by mobilization according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine and took up the defense of his native country as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He is survived by his wife Lesia, daughters Yulia and Olena, and son Oleksandr.
