On Monday, 11 August, Lviv region bid farewell to its defenders
🕯️ Bohdan Matijtsiv
A resident of the village of Bitlia in the Borinska community. He was a junior sergeant. He was killed on 4 August while performing a combat mission near the village of Myrnohrad in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region.
🕯️ Ivan Kalinevich
He comes from the town of Skole in the Stryi district.
He was a senior lieutenant,
Commander of the 2nd mechanised platoon of the 9th mechanised company of the 3rd mechanised battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He died on 5 August from heart disease in Kharkiv while undergoing treatment at a military hospital. The soldier was 46 years old.
🕯️ Vladimir Gashchin
A native of Novyi Rozdil, he lived in the village of Veryn, Rozvadivska community, Stryi district. He was the commander of a combat vehicle in military unit A0998. He was considered missing in action for over three years. Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that the defender died on 26 March 2022 near the village of Popasna in the Luhansk region. The soldier was 46 years old.
