Dear community, On Monday, November 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM, the body of fallen Ukrainian defender Volodymyr LYASHUK will arrive in the town of Sokal, where it will be met near the Church of Saints Peter and Paul.
A mourning cortege will then proceed to the village of Stargorod, where a prayer vigil will be held at the Hero’s family home.
On Tuesday, November 11, at 12:00 PM, the funeral ceremony will begin. Volodymyr Lyashuk will be laid to rest at the local cemetery in Stargorod.
The city council urges residents of Sokal and nearby areas to pause their daily activities and come to honor the Hero with dignity.
