Today, 390 of our defenders returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity. This marks the first stage of a large-scale agreement for a 1000-for-1000 exchange, reached during a recent meeting in Turkey.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the exchange will continue over the upcoming weekend — on Saturday and Sunday.
This is one of the largest prisoner exchange operations since the full-scale war began.
