Yesterday, Lviv said goodbye to four Heroes who gave their lives for the will of Ukrainians

On October 22, Lviv said goodbye to four more Heroes. Oleksiy Yemanov, Rostyslav Shiyko, Yurii Osadchuk and Serhiy Chistyakov died defending Ukraine.

Heroes were buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.

Biographical references of Heroes

Oleksiy Yemanov (21.08.1995-19.10.2022). A native of the village of Krasny Mak (AR Crimea).
He graduated from the State budgetary educational institution of professional training “Sevastopol Architectural and Construction College” with a specialty “Construction and operation of buildings and structures”.

In 2019, he started his career at the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Luhansk region. He held the position of a firefighter and rescuer, later – a motor sapper of the underwater demining department. During his service, he earned the rank of “junior sergeant of the civil defense service”.

After the start of Russian aggression, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Participant in hostilities.

Oleksiy Yemanov is survived by his parents, a pregnant wife, a daughter and two brothers.

Rostislav Shiyko (“Drohobych”) (July 23, 1989-October 15, 2022). A native of Lviv.
He studied at the Vasyl Stus Lyceum of International Relations of the Lviv City Council. He received his higher education at the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” majoring in “Management”. He underwent military training and received the rank of “junior lieutenant”.

Participant of the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity, defended the Motherland in the area of ​​the Anti-Terrorist Operation as part of a separate special purpose unit “Azov”

He was one of the leaders of the Lviv “Karpat” fan movement, the author of the “Military History” blog.

With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, he fought with the occupiers in the ranks of the 103rd separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Rostislav Shiyk is survived by his parents, brother, wife and two young daughters.

Yuriy Osadchuk (“Tai”) (30.05.1989-15.10.2022). A native of the city of Kamianka-Buzka, Lviv region. Lived in Lviv.

Graduated from Lviv Polytechnic National University. He mastered the Spanish language on his own, and during the war he began studying Chinese. He played the cello.

He actively practiced Muay Thai, was a holder of a “blue belt” in jiu-jitsu, and also a fan of Lviv “Karpaty”. He held positions in IT companies “EPAM” and “N-iX”.

From the first day of the full-scale invasion, he defended the Motherland from the invaders. He served in the ranks of the 103rd separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yuriy Osadchuk is survived by his wife, parents, sister, brother-in-law and niece.

Serhii Chistyakov (12.06.1973-15.10.2022). Born in the city of Gomel (Republic of Belarus), where he lived until he was 10 years old. Later, he and his family moved to Lviv.
Studied at secondary comprehensive school No. 9. Graduated from the Maritime Professional College named after Oleksandr Ivanovich Marinesk of the Odesa Maritime Academy National University. Served in the army.

In recent years, he worked at the Company with additional responsibility “GAL-Kat”. He was fond of fishing and riding a motorcycle.

With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the territorial defense as a volunteer. He defended the Motherland as part of the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Serhiy Chistyakov is survived by his wife and daughter.
