Today, the Velykomosti community laid to rest its Defender — Vasyl Saikov.
With pain in our hearts and tears in our eyes, we bid farewell to the warrior in the community where he was born and raised, where he spent his childhood and youth. As befits a Hero, Vasyl Saikov was buried with full military honors — accompanied by a military band and a military salute, the Hero’s wife was handed the brigade’s flag, as well as the Ukrainian flag. The community members, bowing their heads, knelt in tribute to the one who gave his life for Ukraine, for our freedom and a peaceful future.
