Cars will be sent to the front.
Today, March 21, four ambulances were handed over to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Two armored vehicles will be delivered to the special units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard, and two more will be delivered to the Sambir regional territorial center of equipment and social support.
“Once again, we are handing over several vehicles for the Armed Forces, the National Guard and other military structures. I am sure that they will help to quickly evacuate wounded soldiers and, if necessary, save their lives. Thank you to the Doskich Family Charitable Foundation and the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine, which repaired and equipped the cars. Thanks to their work, we have the opportunity to regularly help the front”, – emphasized the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.

As noted by Andriy Vasko, the head of the EMD and MC LOC, during 2022-2023, more than 280 vehicles were transferred from the balance of emergency services to the front, 66 of them armored ambulances – these are all-wheel drive vehicles with increased cross-country ability.
“We received the last two armored ambulances thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in Great Britain. On the initiative of Maksym Kozytskyi, their maintenance and retrofitting was carried out. The process took several months. It is about overhauling the engine, gearbox, and changing the wheels,” Yuriy Doskich emphasized.
According to the head of the National Academy of Ground Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny Pavel Tkachuk, the availability of serviceable and armored medical vehicles on the front line is very important. After all, the life cycle of a car on the front line is 3-6 months – the occupiers systematically and purposefully attack medical transport.
For its part, the military unit to which the cars were handed over thanked the head of the OVA and other representatives for their initiative and concern.
