Resident of Ostriv village, Victor Hulyadyk, born in 1983, was killed while carrying out a combat mission. He served as a gunner in the airborne unit of the 77th Separate Airborne Brigade. For a year and a half, Victor was considered missing in action, but it was recently confirmed that he died on 28 September 2024 near the village of Bohoyavlenka in the Donetsk region.
This news has been a heavy blow to the Hero’s family and friends. We express our deepest condolences to his family and friends. The memory of Victor Hulyadyk will remain in our hearts, as his sacrifice is part of the great price we pay for independence and freedom.
