Viktor Ionov from Busk Killed in Battles for Ukraine

Viktor Ionov, a soldier of the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhanska Brigade, is returning to his hometown of Busk on a shield, having been killed in battles for Ukraine. This was reported by Hromada Buska.

The cortege with the warrior’s body will set off on Monday, 16 March, at 10:40 from the morgue of KNP ‘Busk CRL’ and will proceed through the streets of the town: Lvivska, 900th Anniversary Square of Busk, Independence Square, Kyivska to the warrior’s parental home at address 15a, where the funeral service will commence at 11:00. Afterwards, the procession will move to the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul.

Viktor Ionov will be buried in the Pantheon of Heroes next to other warriors at the local cemetery. Residents are urged to pay their respects and honour the defender on his final journey.

According to an order by the mayor Rostyslav Slipets, 16 March has been declared a Day of Mourning in the Busk City Territorial Community.
