Servicemen of the 428th Separate Battalion share their experience of using the Novator armoured vehicle

Servicemen of the 428th Separate Battalion report that they have been actively using the Novator armoured vehicle for over a year to carry out combat missions. The vehicle is primarily employed to deliver ammunition and rotate personnel in the challenging conditions at the front.

According to a soldier of the unit with the callsign ‘Boroda’, who is a Novator driver, the armoured vehicle performs confidently off-road — in marshy terrain, fields and tree lines, where other vehicles often cannot reach.

‘Whether it’s potholes, open fields or the highway, it performs very well. It’s manoeuvrable, easy to handle and fast. For me, it’s reliable: no matter how many times I’ve driven it, it has never once let me down,’ said a serviceman of the 428th Separate Battalion with the callsign ‘Boroda’.

The unit notes that the Novator is used for logistics under fire, night-time rotations and delivering cargo to areas where other vehicles do not dare to go. The crew is confident: as long as the armoured vehicle is operational, the mission can be accomplished.

The Novator armoured vehicle is manufactured by the company Ukrainian Armour and, according to the military, combines high off-road capability and protection, which is critically important for work on the front line.
