Serviceman Petro Mavko from Khlivchany Returns from Russian Captivity

The Belz urban territorial community has received long-awaited and joyful news. During another prisoner exchange, Ukrainian serviceman Petro Petrovych Mavko, a native of the village of Khlivchany, was brought back to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian defender had been held in Russian captivity since June 25, 2022. After a prolonged period of imprisonment, he has finally returned to his homeland.

Petro Mavko’s release became an especially joyful event for his family, relatives, friends, and the entire Belz community.

The defender was wished:

  • a swift physical and psychological recovery;
  • good health;
  • peace of mind;
  • the support and warmth of his loved ones.

The community also expressed gratitude to everyone who works every day to secure the release of Ukrainian servicemen and servicewomen from Russian captivity and help them return home.
