Servicemen from Chervonohrad district were posthumously awarded with state awards

In accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine, the following were awarded honorary orders: Roman Hrytsyk, Volodymyr Faberskyi, Andrii Stepanko, Roman Dmytriv, Mykola Klontsak, and Oleh Pylyuk. The awards were presented to the families of the fallen soldiers by the head of the Chervonohrad District State Administration, Andrii Diachenko.

The Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, II class:

  • Roman Hrytsyk is a native of Chervonohrad. He was promoted to the rank of Major. He died in September 2023 in the Donetsk region at the age of 25.

Order “For Courage”, III class:

  • Volodymyr Faberskyi is a native of Chervonohrad. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend his homeland as part of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade. He was a grenade launcher. He died on 6 December 2022 near the village of Yakovlivka, Donetsk region.
  • Andrii Stepanko was a resident of the village of Ostrov. He died in January 2023.
  • Roman Dmytriv was originally from Chervonohrad. The soldier had been missing since 16 April 2022, and his death was confirmed in October. Roman died in the Kharkiv region at the age of 36.
  • Mykola Klontsak is a native of Chervonohrad. During the full-scale war, he defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 53rd separate rifle battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a rifleman-paramedic. He died on 11 March 2023 in a battle in Bakhmut, Donetsk region. He was 22 years old.
  • Oleh Pylyuk is a resident of Chervonohrad. In 2014-2016, he took part in the ATO. Since 2021, he has been defending the territorial integrity of our country as part of the 24th King Danylo Brigade. He died on 20 March 2022 in the city of Popasna, Luhansk region.
