In the Sambir district, the families of fallen and missing servicemen were presented with high state awards. The honours were handed over by the head of the Sambir District Military Administration, Ivan Ilchyshyn, and a representative of the third battalion of the Territorial Defence, military unit A7031, Liudmyla Demkiv.
By Decrees of the President of Ukraine, the Order “For Courage” 3rd Class was posthumously awarded to privates Volodymyr Benio, Vasyl Hera and Vasyl Deiak.
Private Stepan Rurko, who is listed as missing in action, has been awarded the Order “For Courage” 3rd Class and the distinction “Iron Cross”.
Senior Sergeant Maksym Zinevych was posthumously awarded the medal “For Military Service to Ukraine”. The same medal, posthumously, was awarded to Private Mykhailo Pletenytskyi. The awards were presented to their families.
In addition, the distinction “Veteran of Service” was posthumously awarded to Serhii Myliantsi.
