Today in Lviv, an event took place that was significant for every resident. The community said farewell to Vladyslav the Blessed and his son Danylo, who died defending their homeland. Many people came to pay their respects, including close ones and friends.
The photograph shows Ms Natalia, mother and widow, receiving two flags in memory of her loved ones. Vladyslav died last year, and only recently, his body was brought home for burial together with his son’s. Their fight for the nation continued on different fronts, at different times, but the choice to sacrifice their lives for Ukraine unites them forever.
This day will remain a bright memory for all who knew them and remember their bravery. Condolences to the family and eternal memory to the defenders who gave the most valuable sacrifice for our future.
