
On July 31, 2025, Defender Bohdan Petrovych Voitiuk, born on September 10, 1972, passed away due to a severe illness.
Bohdan was born in the village of Bobiatyn, studied at the Bobiatyn school, and continued his education at the Belz Vocational School. In 1999, he married his wife Myroslava. The couple had a daughter and a son. Since 2010, the family moved to live in the village of Kniazh.
On March 3, 2022, Bohdan Voitiuk was drafted into military service. He served in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade. While in service, he became critically ill, underwent long-term treatment, but unfortunately, he could not be saved.

We express our deepest condolences on the death of the Defender to his mother Stefaniia, wife Myroslava, son Dmytro, daughter Orysiia and son-in-law Stepan, comrades-in-arms, and the entire family. Eternal memory!
The funeral service of Bohdan Voitiuk will begin tomorrow at 12:00 PM in the village of Kniazh, after which the procession will proceed to the village of Bobiatyn, where Bohdan Voitiuk will find his eternal rest in the local cemetery.
