A warrior from Lviv region was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree by the President of Ukraine
Vasyl Hrymalyuk was awarded an honorary state decoration for courage and heroism in the performance of military duty. The award was presented to the family of the fallen defender by Rudkiv Mayor Ivan Lozynskyi.

Vasyl Hrymalyuk is a native of the Rudkiv community. During a full-scale war, he stood up to defend his homeland. He defended the territorial integrity of our country as part of the 128th separate mountain assault battalion. The soldier died on May 18, 2023, while performing a combat mission near the village of Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia region.
