In the village of Chornyi Ostriv of the Khodoriv community, a commemorative plaque was installed on the school facade in honour of Volodymyr Artym. The event was attended by family members, clergy, teachers and students of the educational institution, as well as community representatives.
Volodymyr Artym served in the grenade launcher section of the mechanised battalion’s grenade launcher platoon of military unit A4447. He was killed on 1 November 2024 in a battle near the settlement of Maksymilianivka in the Donetsk region. For his bravery and dedicated service, he was awarded the “Veteran of War” medal and the “Fallen Warrior” order. He was 38 years old.
