Our community has suffered yet another irreparable loss. The death of Volodymyr Bohdanovych Hrokhola from the city of Novyi Rozdil, who had long been considered missing, has been confirmed. Volodymyr, born in 1981, served in the National Guard of Ukraine and was on a combat mission on 9 August 2025 near the settlement of Virolubivka in the Kramatorsk district.
Only now, after the necessary examinations, has it been officially confirmed that our Defender was killed while defending Ukraine. We express our heartfelt condolences to his family and all who knew and loved Volodymyr. We share your grief and bow our heads in mourning. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
The date and time of the Hero’s return and the funeral service will be announced additionally. Eternal memory to the Hero and everlasting glory for his feat!
