Volodymyr Krykavskyi from Pavliv Killed in Action for Ukraine

On 31 March, Lviv prepares to bid farewell to serviceman Volodymyr Krykavskyi, whose life was cut short on the battlefields for Ukraine. The farewell ceremony will begin at 11:00 at the Garrison Church of Saints Peter and Paul, with a city-wide ceremony to be held at Rynok Square.

Volodymyr, a native of the village of Pavliv in the Lviv region, dedicated his life to the defence of Ukraine. His career began with conscription service, after which he joined the air defence forces. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the hero fought on crucial fronts, including in the Southern Slobozhansk and Luhansk regions.

His family remembers him not only as a warrior but also as a patriot and loving family man. Volodymyr remains a beacon of kindness and justice for his wife and two sons. He was awarded medals for “War Veteran” and “Bravery in Combat”.
