During February 7–8, 2026, the Lviv region experienced multiple air raid alerts caused by missile threats and enemy unmanned aerial vehicles. The danger affected both specific districts of the region and the entire territory of Ukraine.

    A missile threat was announced for the Lviv region and all of Ukraine. The takeoff of a MiG-31K fighter jet, capable of carrying Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, was recorded. Residents were urged not to ignore air raid alerts.

    An air raid alert was declared in the Sheptytskyi district due to the threat of combat drones.

    Authorities confirmed that during the air raid alert, the enemy attempted to strike critical infrastructure facilities in the Lviv region. Thanks to Ukrainian defenders, the attack failed. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties or injuries. Specialized services are working on site.
