Kasyanov Yevhen Oleksandrovych is another Hero whose fate symbolises the indomitable Ukrainian spirit and the tragedy of war.
The warrior, born in 1990, died on 10 August 2023 near the village of Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia. He had been missing since then, and only now has his death been reported.
His last battle was a manifestation of the ultimate sacrifice for Ukraine.
As the Novorozdil City Council emphasises: “Eternal memory and glory to the Ukrainian soldier who defended his homeland and each of us!”
These words became the voice of the entire community that lost one of its best sons. Kasyanov’s death is a pain for every Ukrainian who feels the weight of the struggle for independence in their hearts.
