Over the past week, communities across different districts of Lviv region have raised hundreds of thousands of hryvnias, purchased vehicles, drones and electronic warfare equipment, and delivered humanitarian aid and treats for Ukrainian servicemen.
At Novoyavorivsk General Secondary School I–III degrees No. 2 of Yavoriv district, work continues on producing camouflage nets for frontline units. Another batch of nets has been sent to the hottest sectors of the front — near Pokrovsk and Chasiv Yar — where they are needed to conceal equipment and positions.
In Lviv district, volunteers from the USA bought a laptop for the unit of serviceman Vitalii Boretskyi from the Velykyi Liubin community. At the 78th session of the Horodok City Council, the budget funded the purchase of 6 Matrice 4T, 1 Mavic 3E, 44 Starlink Mini, 18 Starlink 3 gen and 18 charging stations worth over UAH 2.8 million in total, which were handed over to the military. Separately, councillors allocated a UAH 1.1 million subvention for five military units.
Zhovtantsi community is also actively supporting the army. The widow of a fallen defender donated UAH 25,000 to meet the needs of the military. Entrepreneurs from the village of Velyke Kolodno added UAH 22,000, resident of the village Volodymyr Pavlus contributed UAH 5,000, and LLC “HRIN PROM” — UAH 40,000. All the funds have been directed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During a charity event in the village of Vykhopni, dedicated to Ukrainian Statehood Day and the Day of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus-Ukraine, a further UAH 111,500 was raised for the Armed Forces.
Zymna Voda community, with financial support from local entrepreneurs, has purchased an electronic warfare system for the 241st Separate Territorial Defence Brigade. According to the military, this EW system helped protect a vehicle from an enemy drone on its very first day in operation. In Briukhovychi of Lviv community, a charity event marking the 582nd anniversary of the first written mention of the settlement raised UAH 40,000, part of which will go towards purchasing drones and materials for weaving camouflage nets.
In Zolochiv district, volunteers from Zolochiv community sent another batch of aid from benefactors in Germany. Volunteers from Busk community delivered ready-to-eat meals, vitamins, fresh vegetables, coffee and hygiene products to servicemen. Housewives from the village of Pobuzhany prepared a new batch of treats, while communities from the villages of Volytsia-Derevlianska and Sokolia purchased and handed over a drone for the defenders.
In Sambir district, the Sambir community’s Coordination Centre for Assistance to the Army continues its work. Thanks to benefactors from Canada, medical equipment for eye treatment has been sent to Dnipro and Ivano-Frankivsk. Addressed parcels for soldiers have been dispatched to the Sumy and Donetsk sectors. Troops of the 59th Separate Assault Brigade received a monitor and a sleeping bag, while border guards were provided with camouflage nets. The vehicle of the 24th Separate Mechanised Brigade was also serviced, and the coordination centre’s own transport was repaired.
At its latest session, Rudky City Council allocated UAH 1 million 950 thousand to improve the material and technical support of 11 military units. Young volunteers from the village of Zadnistryany made over 3,000 mosquito-repellent candles for servicemen. In addition, Pavlo Korbiak donated military gear, and the community continues to collect other essential items.
In the village of Verkhivtsi of Biskovychi community, a charity evening of Ukrainian song featuring the band “Zoriani Nochi” raised UAH 51,790. Of this amount, UAH 23,540 has already been used to purchase another vehicle for the military.
In Sheptytskyi district, Sokal street musicians continue to support the army. This time they raised UAH 4,710 and added it to the fundraiser for a pickup truck for the mortar battery of the 1st Assault Battalion of the Aidar Regiment. The collection was initiated by the head of Sokal Vocational Lyceum, Nataliia Yurchyshyn.
In Stryi district, volunteer Khrystyna Borys, together with benefactors, sent aid to servicemen in 11 frontline sectors. The shipment included medicines and tactical medical supplies (first aid kits, a medical rucksack, tourniquets, haemostatic bandages, medicines, IV solutions, a cervical collar), military gear (a tactical rucksack, a plate carrier, combat boots, boonie hats), clothing, underwear, socks, hygiene products, a washing machine, treats and other essential items.
Volunteer Nataliia Dmytryshyn’s kitchen continues to cook homemade food for servicemen. Graduates of class 11-H of the Andrii Korchak Stryi Lyceum transferred UAH 5,889 towards a vehicle for their fellow townsman and his comrades-in-arms. Staff of the Intensive Care Hospital branch of the Non-Commercial Enterprise TMO SMOL have been baking pastries for soldiers for many years.
Parishioners of the Church of St Andrew the First-Called of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Atlanta (USA) donated 600 dollars to the Armed Forces. The parish community of the UGCC in the city of Padua handed over a vehicle for Ukrainian servicemen. Thanks to this support, volunteer Iryna Ivaniv-Levytska from the charity organisation “Priorytet 4.5.0” has sent another car loaded with essential supplies to the Pokrovsk sector.
Volunteers of the NGO “Maidan Stryishchyny” received a new batch of humanitarian aid from Liliana Shcherbanovych and her friends in Italy — hygiene products, food, clothing and other necessary items. The “Tvorimo dobro” Team Charitable Foundation again ran a collection at the Zhydachiv market, raising UAH 22,940 for a vehicle for a local serviceman.
During the All-Ukrainian Children’s Chess Festival “Morshyn-2026”, a charity fair was held, raising UAH 24,000 to support the unit of a serviceman from Morshyn. Newlyweds are also doing their bit: the couple Olena and Andrian donated UAH 14,000, and Olena and Zenýk — UAH 21,770 for the needs of defenders.
Volunteers of the “Angels of the Armed Forces” Charitable Foundation made another trip east, delivering cars and vans provided for the military by various benefactors. To mark Medical Workers’ Day, staff of the Non-Commercial Enterprise “Zhydachiv Primary Health Care Centre” donated UAH 43,000 in charitable contributions towards collections for local servicemen.
Parishioners of the Church of Saints Volodymyr and Olha in Khodoriv continue weaving camouflage nets. This time, the camouflage they produced was sent to Kharkiv region.
In Drohobych district, the Drohobych District Military Administration together with the “KOLO” volunteer centre handed over 45 modern FPV drones with fibre-optic control to the HORT battalion. A laptop, cable ties and other necessary items were purchased for one of the border guard units. Parishioners of the Transfiguration of the Lord Church in Drohobych and volunteer Mariia Holovkevych also contributed to the collection.
In the township of Pidbuzh of Skhidnytsia community, a charity performance report by the “Pidbuzhanka” folk amateur song and dance ensemble was held. The event raised UAH 36,000 to support the military. Lviv region continues to demonstrate powerful solidarity with Ukrainian defenders at the front.
