Yaroslav Syomin from Susval Killed in Combat

The life of Yaroslav Syomin tragically came to an end while defending Ukraine. He was born on 30th June 1998 in the village of Susval in the Volyn region. He gained qualifications as a bricklayer and plasterer at Novoyavorivske Vocational School. In 2020, he enlisted for compulsory military service, and from 2nd March 2022, he defended his homeland during the invasion. This was reported by the Novoyavorivsk City Council.

Yaroslav was a sincere person, interested in fishing and cars, and dreamed of becoming a father. He had many friends and was a true patriot. On 9th March 2026, his life tragically ended. He is survived by his wife Nataliia, mother Svitlana, and sisters Oksana and Viktoriia.

The farewell ceremony for the soldier will take place tomorrow at 13:30 at St. Stepan Bandera Street, number 6, and the funeral service will be held at 14:00 in the Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Novoyavorivsk. Yaroslav will be laid to rest at the local cemetery.
